Design is a process. That process starts with a lot of questions; the most important one being: “why am I creating this in the first place.” The answer to this question helps define the possible paths toward the end goal.

The process inevitably leads to the creation of artifacts, which is what most people think of when they hear the word design.

Looking back, I’ve come to see my work less as a collection of different disciplines and more as a single practice expressed through different materials.
